Denise Scotland

Denise Scotland has worked in the field of professional and personal development for more than 13 years, leading experiential wilderness expeditions for students and non-profit organizations, and facilitating team building programs for federal governmental agencies and private sector corporations.

She has extensive experience and skills in advanced team building, leadership development, conflict resolution, communication skills, diversity training, experience-based projects and facilitated community service.

Denise holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Administration and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Scranton. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Rutgers University/Douglass College. In addition to working as a senior facilitator for Legacy, Denise is a Technical Assistance Specialist and trainer for the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and a member of the statewide Diversity Committee. She also works as a Mobile Therapist providing home-based counseling to those requiring mental health services.
